As a step to deliver the Pact for the Future that UCLG agreed to develop in its latest World Council in Guangzhou, the #CitiesAreListening Experience that took place on December 8th took the form of a high-level conversation on Development Cooperation and the COVID-19 pandemic involving representatives from all spheres of government as well as members from the donor community.

The Secretariat of the Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG), Swiss Development Cooperation (SDC), VNG International and the German Development Cooperation (GIZ) jointly invite you to a webinar on:

"Decentralisation and Local Governance in Authoritarian Contexts."

The webinar will take place on Thursday, 10 December 2020, at 10 am - 11:30 am CET.

On the 14th of May 2020 from 03:00 pm to 04:30pm CEST, DeLoG and VNG International will conduct a webinar on pathways for local authorities to deal with protracted urban violence.

The Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG) and VNG International jointly invite you to a webinar on pathways for local authorities to deal with protracted urban violence.

DeLoG is providing for a tutored E-learning Course covering a wide range of decentralisation and local governance (DLG) related topics, structured along six modules. The first module “an introduction to decentralisation, Local Governance and development effectiveness” will give participants a well-grounded start and an overview on DLG within international agendas.

From 23-25 May, the 13th Annual Meeting of the Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance (DeLoG) took place in The Hague, the Netherlands, hosted by VNG International. Around 30 participants from bi- and multilateral organisations working in the field of decentralisation and local governance took part in DeLoG’s 13^th annual meeting and contributed to fruitful discussions.

The DeLoG team would like to invite you to participate in the tutored E-learning course on “Enhancing Development Effectiveness for Decentralisation and Local Governance”, taking place from the 7^th of May until the 7^th of July 2018.

DeLoG, the „Development Partners Network on Decentralisation and Local Governance“, is organizing another joint learning event in Brussels, from 25-28 January 2017. This upcoming event aims to provide insights on the nexus between local governance and sustaining peace in fragile and conflict affected settings.
