The LSE Institute of the London School of Economics is launching a second round of a survey on Urban Governance, in view of the global agendas that will be set this year. The initiative aims to analyse the state of urban governance worldwide, therefore it tries to include the maximum number of cities possible. Your city is invited to contribute!
The first Survey, in which 78 cities from all continents participated, was led by the LSE Cities institute of the London School of Economics, in collaboration with UN Habitat, the UCLG World Secretariat and the UCLG Decentralisation and Local Self-Government committee. Results from the Survey on Urban Governance can be found here.
The Survey on Urban Governance is an initiative aimed at tackling the lack of a comprehensive overview of urban governance practices around the globe.
Any city’s or local governments interested in being part of this project can show their interest by sending an email to survey@urbangovernance.net. The deadline for submitting responses to the questionnaire is 30 September 2015. The results from this survey will be included in the fourth Global Report on Decentralisation and Local Democracy (GOLD IV) to be published in 2016.
