VVSG concludes three pilot project on localizing the SDGs: approach and lessons learned now published

In 2019, VVSG concluded a three-year pilot project on localizing the SDGs. VVSG worked together with a core group of 20 municipalities to experiment in depth with awareness raising and integrating the SDGs in local policy plans. The pilot project led to the development of many tools and guidelines. We have summarized the approach of the pilot project, the lessons learned (for VVSG and for the municipalities), and the challenges and success factors in localizing the SDGs.
