This year in lieu of the ICMA Annual Conference ICMA is going to have a digital event, Unite. As ICMA, we are extremely excited to be able to offer 3 international regional tracks, Europe/Africa track, Asia track and LAC track (in keeping with regional time zones) in addition to the regular conference sessions that will take on U.S time. Please see the attached flyers for the Europe/Africa and Asia tracks, a compact file showing all sessions on these tracks. LAC track session information can be seen on Unite Spanish website.
The sessions on these tracks include global content with speakers from all around the world and the conference registration fee for all participants outside of North America is waived ($0 registration fee). All registrants will have access to all conference sessions (100+ sessions) including the regional tracks. If you are not able to participate in a session live, you can watch it on-demand until the end of this calendar year.
In addition to the educational sessions, there is going to be a digital exhibit hall, inspirational keynotes by leaders from the world stage including Connie Hedegaard from Denmark (at the E/A track opening session), and exciting entertainment events (e.g. Sheryl Crow Concert).
You do not have to be a member to get free registration if you are from outside North America. To register you need to create an ICMA account. Again, you don’t need to be a member to create an account, you can simply do so by adding an email and creating a password. In the registration form, you should enter your information including your address and select “global participant” to register for free.
