OECD study on The Impact of Decentralised Development Co-operation

The OECD has published a comprehensive study: The Impact of Decentralised Development Co-operation, presented during the 9th OECD Roundtable on Cities and Regions for the SDGs in Berlin. The study provides one of the most comprehensive analyses to date of the contribution and impact of decentralised development co-operation.

The report examines how partnerships between local and regional governments contribute to sustainable development, focusing on their added value, impact and contribution to the Sustainable Development Goals. It provides evidence and insights into how decentralised development co-operation can support local development and strengthen partnerships between territories.

The OECD has also published policy highlights and a short two-page summary, making the key findings accessible to local and regional actors.
