The book presents the first dedicated leadership framework for city leaders, addressing the unique challenges of governing cities in a complex and rapidly changing world.
Recognising the increasingly important role of cities in addressing global challenges such as climate change, urbanisation and social cohesion, the book argues that city leadership requires its own distinct approach. CityCraft presents the “6 Cs” framework — Clarity, Care, Coalition, Courage, Conscience and Craftsmanship — to support local leaders in navigating complexity, building partnerships and governing with long-term vision.
