In light of the 8th edition of the African Forum of the Territorial Managers and Training Institutes Targeting the Local Government from the 9th till the 13th of December in Tangier (Morocco), the African Academy of Local Authorities (ALGA) and UCLG Africa host a Capacity Development Workshop on 'The Future of Governance and New Mindsets, Knowledge and Skills'. The theme of this year's African Forum will be ‘Educate an African fit for the 21st Century: Roles and Responsibilities of Local and Regional Governments'. The event will be an opportunity to present and debate the issues of education, training and employment on the African continent with a focus on the roles and responsibilities of African Local and Regional Governments.
