The Government of Catalonia organises a series of webinars on COVID-19 and Development Cooperation. The first roundtable, taking place on March 9, aims to emphasize the SDG 5 of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development: to achieve gender equality and empower all women and girls. Views on the gender perspective in response and longer term recovery efforts will also be exchanged, as well as lessons learned for future emergencies.

The first webinar, which will be the first one of a series of five, is planned for March 9.

Theme: COVID-19 and Gender

- the impact of COVID-19 on women's rights;
- the role of women in governance and response to the pandemic;
- the role of new masculinities;
- how to strengthen gender-focused development cooperation;
