United Nations Habitat Assembly

The Convened every 4 years at the UN Headquarters in Nairobi, the Assembly reviews major trends in related to human settlements and urbanization; examines global norms and standards in sustainable urbanization, adopts resolutions, declarations, recommendations, formal decisions, reports and other documents pertaining to strategic vision and political guidance. A formal session of the Local and Regional Governments Forum, convened by the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments, is held in the framework of the Assembly. UCLG facilitates our constituency’s delegation.
