UN ECOSOC Integration Segment

From May 27th to May 29th the United Nations Economic and Social Council (UN-ECOSOC) will meet in New York for the first time to discuss the topic of sustainable urbanization. In order to bring attention to the importance of sustainable urbanization in the achievement of the Millenium Development Goals of 2015 and possible sustainable future gains, the Council asked governments to rally for sustainable cities in their own countries' development policies and programmes.
