CLGF holds its bi-annual Commonwealth Local Government Conference from June 16 to 19 in Gaborone, Botswana. The event is expected to have over 600 attendees such as politicians, policy-makers and (local government) practitioners from Africa, the Caribbean, the Pacific, and Europe. The main goal of the Conference is to discuss new ideas, approaches, and practice that allow councils to provide better service delivery.
This year's Conference will also mark CLGF's 20th anniversary.
The Commonwealth Local Government Conference is organised with the Botswana Ministry of Local Government and Rural Development as well as the Botswana Association of Local Authorities (BALA).
