Africities 2018

This years’ edition of the Africities Summit will focus on the central theme is “The transition to sustainable cities and territories: the role of African local authorities”. The event will address the issue of the future of cities, territories and local communities in Africa, with taking as a starting point the situation of Africa in globalization and urbanization; in highlighting the dimensions of the transition from current mutations; and in emphasizing the role and strategy of African Local Governments in the transition.
