67th session of the Commission on the Status of Women (CSW67)

The CSW is the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women. The priority theme of next year’s edition is “Innovation and technological change, and education in the digital age for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls.” The review theme will focus on “Challenges and opportunities in achieving gender equality and the empowerment of rural women and girls.”

UCLG, through UCLG-Women, usually convenes a Local and Regional Governments’ Day to gather the local and regional constituency and keep promoting the Feminist Municipal Movement.
