Dear readers,
In this month's CIB Newsletter we pay special attention to Peace, Dialogue and Human Rights, in light of the World Human Rights City Forum which was held from 15 May to 18 May in Gwangju, the Republic of Korea, under the theme of “Towards a Global Alliance of Human Rights Cities for All, Part 2”. In other news this month: some articles on development, Municipal International Cooperation (MIC) and on the World Summit on Climate and Territories. Furthermore, there are several exciting upcoming events in the coming months, so do not forget to look at the calendar section.
As you may have noticed already, this newsletter has a new design! Furthermore, we just launched our new website. Please take a look at www.cib-uclg.org!
Sharing information on upcoming programmes, past experiences, and other areas of interest has always been an important topic at CIB meetings, so we encourage all members to keep everyone updated by including your news in our monthly Newsletter. You can do this by contacting the CIB Working Group Secretariat.

Call for Compendium Update in View of CIB Meeting 1-2 October 2015
In view of the annual CIB meeting to be held on te 1st and 2nd of October 2015 in The Hague, we would like to update the compendium on our (new) website. This feature aims to track who is doing what and where in terms of local government development cooperation programmes of CIB members worldwide. The content of the compendium could serve as valuable input for the different panel sessions and other discussions during the annual CIB meeting. Also, it can potentially connect organisations with similar projects in certain areas, or with similar themes, to each other.
Please follow this link to fill out the information regarding your projects. Thank you in advance!
