Dear readers,
In this month's CIB Newsletter we pay attention to recent events, related to the territorial approach to local development and the first activities of the new strategic partnerships of the EC. We hope to discuss all below topics (and many more) with you at the annual CIB meeting on 1-2 October in The Hague. Do not forget to register for this event before the 1st of September.
In other news this month: SALGA's recently launched Centre for Learning and Governance, FCM's new mining development program in Colombia and Peru and information on the LoGICA framework. Furthermore, there are several upcoming events in the coming months, so do not forget to look at the calendar section.
Sharing information on upcoming programmes, past experiences, and other areas of interest has always been an important topic at CIB meetings, so we encourage all members to keep everyone updated by including your news in our monthly Newsletter. You can do this by contacting the CIB Working Group Secretariat.
Looking forward to seeing you in The Hague and wishing you happy reading.

Call for Compendium Update in View of CIB Meeting 1-2 October 2015
In view of the annual CIB meeting to be held on the 1st and 2nd of October 2015 in The Hague, we would like to update the compendium on our website. This feature aims to track who is doing what and where in terms of local government development cooperation programmes of CIB members worldwide. The content of the compendium could serve as valuable input for the different panel sessions and other discussions during the annual CIB meeting. Also, it can potentially connect organisations with similar projects in certain areas, or with similar themes, to each other.
Please follow this link to fill out the information regarding your project. Thank you advance!
