During the 2019 High Level Political Forum as well as the UCLG World Congres in Autumn 2019, UCLG will present the 5th report of the Global Observatory on Decentralisation and Local Democracy, also named GOLD V. This report will showcase the current situation of local and regional governments worldwide and their involvement in the localization of the global agendas. To do so, your help and support is highly needed!

What information can UCLG/CIB members provide?

UCLG will build an extensive catalogue of case studies and practices on the implementation of the global goals at local and regional levels. Your city, your region, your association, your knowledge and expertise in this field will all be essential. This entails any information on local and regional governments that are promoting innovative practices and initiatives conceived in the framework of the SDGs and the global agendas (Paris Agreements on Climate Change, the New Urban Agenda and the Sendai Framework for Risk Prevention) that aim to contribute to the achievement of the goals, even if they are not expressly labelled or linked to them.

All information can be submitted to gold@uclg.org in the next months. The GOLD team has a simple template to collect and list valuable examples and relevant cases, which you can find here.
