The High-Level Political Forum is the central United Nations platform for the follow-up and review of the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) at the global level. Traditionally, UCLG and the Global Taskforce convene a Local and Regional Governments’ Forum to bring the perspective of LRGs to the HLPF and the SDGs in review. The Local and Regional Governments’ Day brings the opportunity to present the GTF report “Towards the Localization of SDGs” and to exchange with international partners. Special attention should be paid this year as SDG11 on cities is being reviewed.
