Registration is now open for the sixth online course on SDGs localization: "Accelerating the Localization of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs)." This course, organized by UCLG with the support of expert trainers, will be conducted in English and run from March 3 to July 31 2025. 

This comprehensive training is designed for local and regional leaders, technical professionals, and policymakers working in areas such as international relations, public policy management, and other fields integral to the implementation of the 2030 Agenda. 

 

The course will draw from the foundational SDG Localization Learning Modules created by UCLG in collaboration with the Global Taskforce of Local and Regional Governments, UN-Habitat, and UNDP, ensuring that participants benefit from the most current and practical tools available. Additionally, this updated edition builds on previous online courses developed in partnership with the Barcelona Provincial Council, fostering the exchange of innovative practices among local and regional governments (LRGs) and their associations to accelerate SDG localization.

  • Duration: Equivalent to 72 teaching hours  

  • Format: Online (asynchronous and interactive sessions)  

  • Eligibility: Priority to all members and affiliates of UCLG and LRGs
