Cities100 is looking for innovative, ground-breaking solutions to climate change, with an emphasis on the important role cities play in this field.

Similar to previous editions, Cities100 lists the top 100 of the worlds bravest and most innovative climate projects. These projects touch upon topics such as sustainable mobility, clean energy, and water management. Cities100 is an opportunity for cities to become a proven climate leader, to obtain global media coverage, and to gain exposure via the open-source digital publication and the digital platform, C40 Knowledge Hub, which will host all the city solutions.

Cities100 is organized by C40 Cities, Realdania and Nordic Sustainability. The deadline for applications is the 17th of May 2019, after which the applications will be scored by a jury of C40 experts. The solutions with the highest scores will be eligible to win the C40 Cities Bloomberg Philanthropies Award. The top 100 will be made public during the C40 Mayor’s Summit in Copenhagen in October 2019.
