The Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) of Germany has published a brochure called: 'Good Governance in Practice: Approaches and Examples from Development Practice'.

This brochure presents an extensive introduction to its primary themes and conceptual appoaches. The brochure is directed at policy makers, practitioners working in the field of development cooperation and to a wider readership with a general or specialist interest in the subject.

The BMZ presents their priorites by nine fact sheets and explains them with examples from projecets. These priorities are: media promotion in the context of democracy building, law and justice, decentralisation and local self-government, human rights and gender equality, good financial governance, resource governance, anti-corruption and integrity, and sustainable economic development.
