This year the Federation of Canadian Municipalities (FCM) has offered to host the annual CIB meeting (13-14 June, Ottawa).
The meeting will give an insight in how the Canadidan municipal expertise is used in international cooperation and donors (both Canadian and multilateral) will give their view on how they see involvement of local government in development.
The meeting seeks to contribute to improving coordination amonst local government (associations) and to exchange lessons learned and finding ways to improving the practice within the various programmes implemented. You can access the draft agenda here.
It is still possible to make a reservation at the Minto Suits hotel until the 13th of May. If you want to attend the meeting, please fill in the registration form and send it to: uclg.cib@vng.nl. In the registration form you can find the reservation procedure of the hotel.
