Training on Local Economic Development

The cours on Local Economic Development that is offered by the Hague Academy will take place on 11-22 November 2013, in the Hague. The course is focussed on strengthening the economic capacity of a regional community to make optimal use of the excisting and potential characteristics of the area. The Hague Academy will offer participants stategies, tools and approaches to improve conditions for job creation and incluse economic growth.

The learning objectives are:

• acces the economic political context for regional development;
• identify challenges and opportunities for strengthening the local economy and job creation together with stakeholders at local, regional and national level;
• developm approaches for strategic local economic planning;
• and get acquainted with practical tools for supporting the local economy.
