VVSG, the Association of Flemish Cities and Municipalities, has published a range of seven case studies on Municipal International Cooperation. These case studies consist of cooperations between Flemish municipalities with cities in Latin America and Africa and are available in English, French and Spanish.
The cases concern cities in a wide range of countries, including Ecuador, Guatemala, Nicaragua, Botswana, Benin, Senegal, Congo, Ghana and Morocco. The case studies are compact and contain interviews with people directly involved with the projects, sharing their experiences: the problems they encountered, their approach and the successes of the projects.
