The secretariat is pleased to announce that the next CIB working group meeting will be hosted by the South African Local Government Association (SALGA) in the Republic of South Africa, in the second half of 2017. While the exact dates and location will be confirmed in the coming months, we would like to invite CIB members to share with us their ideas on what should be on the agenda.
It is anticipated that CIB 2017 will build on the strengths of previous meetings and grow our collaborations on the Sustainable Development Goals, Monitoring and Evaluation of Training Interventions and the Changing Needs of Municipalities and their Associations in varying contexts.
In entrenching our network around CIB, we are excited by the participation of ‘Connective Cities’ – which is an international cities platform for sustainable urban development, coordinated by Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit, Engagement Global/Service Agency Communities in One World and the German Association of Cities (Deutscher Städtetag)
