#ChangingCities for the better: PLEDDG campaign

Responding to local needs and aspirations, FCM’s Partnership for Local Economic Development and Democratic Governance (PLEDDG) supported a broad range of capacity development initiatives in the areas of investment attraction, local economic development, intergovernmental cooperation, women entrepreneurship and open governance. In 2020, to encourage the replication of such projects in other municipalities, PLEDDG launched the #ChangingCities campaign which showcased the progress made by 52 partner cities. This telling of success stories and sharing of best practices will resonate for years to come.
