In February, a group of officials working for the city of Amman travelled to Barcelona for a vast exchange, which also led to the launch of a great video! Through the ILCA (Improving the Living Conditions in disadvantaged areas in Amman)-project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), and implemented by GIZ, the technical teams of the city of Amman travelled to Barcelona to exchange on issues such as public space, urban drainage and how to boost green areas in the city. One of the outputs of the mission is a video produced by GIZ, which you will find below.
A long history of cooperation
The cities of Barcelona and Amman have a long and rich history of cooperation, as they have a great deal in common, such as for example their density. This makes collaboration between their respective municipalities very profitable and enables them to improve the living conditions of their inhabitants together by the design and implementation of public policies.
