This year’s annual CIB meeting will be hosted by VNG International in The Hague (The Netherlands), on the 1st and 2nd of October 2015. The meeting aims to foster exchange between CIB members on local government development cooperation programmes, methodologies and trends and international agendas and developments that are relevant for their work.
This includes both an exchange of information among CIB members, but also external presentations from donors and international organizations about the policy changes in development cooperation priorities.
The meeting targets senior project managers and directors of international departments of individual cities and local government associations active in development cooperation. This year, we will ensure larger participation from international departments from cities in the CIB meeting.
