ORU / FOGAR will be hosting its 6th World Summit of Regional Governments on September 1-3, 2014 in Cartagena de Indias, Colombia. The Summit will serve as an Assembly for regional members of the association and will focus on the following three issues:

 

        1. The Regions and their role in the Goals for Sustainable Development Post-2015;
        2. Contemporary Challenges in Decentralisation and Regional Autonomy;
        3. Integral Regional Development.

Over 250 Governors, Mayors, Prefects, and Regional Chairs of Subnational Governments will be joining the Summit. Registration has been open starting from July 15th and can be accomplished via the following link. Follow the World Summit of Regional Governments on twitter at @CumbreORU/FOGAR.
