The 2021 UCLG Retreat is envisaged to take place on 15, 16, and 18, 19 & 22 of February 2021, marking the first edition to be held virtually.
As it is traditionally the case, the upcoming edition of the UCLG Retreat will be the meeting point of the most active members in the structure of the network gathering the UCLG Leadership, Secretariats of Sections and Committees as well as representatives of the Policy Councils and key partners. It will also be organised around thematic workshops, campus-style sessions on the priorities of the different parts of the network, policy discussions and networking hubs.
This first virtual Retreat will strive to maintain the fundamental spirit of co-creation, exchange, and closeness that is critical within this framework. It is envisaged to focus on how the work programme of the different parts of the network can contribute to the Pact for the Future which will define the strategic priorities of our movement towards 2022. Furthermore, UCLG will pay special attention to new instruments, routines, and organization of work resulting from the pandemic.
