The 2020 UCLG Retreat is envisaged to take place on 24-28 February 2020 in Tangier (Morocco).
As it is traditionally the case, this year’s edition of the UCLG Retreat will be the meeting point of the most active members in the structure of the network gathering the UCLG leadership, Secretariats of Sections and Committees as well as representatives of the Policy Councils and key partners. It will also be organised around thematic workshops, campus-style sessions on the priorities of the different parts of the network, policy discussions and networking hubs. CIB will be at the Retreat and will most likely be involved in the organisation/facilitation of one or more sessions.
As it is the first Retreat after the UCLG World Congress, it is envisaged to focus on the work programme of the different parts of the network and the alignment with the policy priorities set out in Durban.
