Conference of the International Observatory on Participatory Democracy (IODP)

Every year, the IOPD holds an international conference to discuss and reflect on the state of participatory democracy in the world. The conference is a gathering of experts in the field of participation and political leaders who advocate a more participatory local democracy. It is also an opportunity to promote cooperation between cities and international organizations in the area of democratic innovation. This year’s theme is “Towards a renewed democracy in the face of ecological, health and social crisis”.
