We’re excited! Only two months left until our in person (and partially hybrid) CIB Annual Meeting 2022 on June 8 and 9, hosted by VVSG and the city of Sint-Niklaas. We are looking forward to meet all of you again and to the rich discussions and exchanges in these interesting times for our working group and the local government development cooperation sector in general.

Our two-day Annual Meeting we will touch on a variety of topics. The new leadership of the Working Group, as well as our future priorities, stand central. But so do climate, gender and the SDGs.  Please find enclosed the tentative agenda.

The venue of the meeting will be the Walburg Castle. You can find all other practical details in the logistical note attached. It includes information on transport to Sint-Niklaas, visa requirements etc.

Please register you intended attendance through this Google Form. The CIB secretariat also advices to already book your hotel room(s) at Hotel Serwir; please find all the details on how to make a reservation and make use of our group book discount in the attached logistical note.

Back-to-back meeting of UCLG and PLATFORMA on 7 June in Brussels

We would also like to inform you that on June 7, a day before the Annual Meeting, we will co-organise a workshop with PLATFORMA and UCLG in Brussels on the Module 4 on the SDGs and Decentralised Cooperation. We are looking into possibilities for common transport to Sint-Niklaas after this meeting. You can indicate if you are interested to join this workshop in the registration form mentioned before.
